As a photographer, I have the wonderful privilege of meeting absolutely amazing families every day and being a part of their most important memories.

I think my favorite part of the experience is watching a new mom cry as she sees her baby’s portraits for the first time. Those happy tears show that every sleepless night and dirty diaper is worth it, all to have these memories of your family forever documented.

And I love that.

Meet Megan

I know first-hand how wonderfully precious these fleeting moments are, and especially how fast the time flies by. It seems like just yesterday we were holding our son in our arms for the very first time, and now he is in 8th grade. When it comes down to it, photography is all about enjoying the love of family and forever preserving the memories of our favorite people.

from one mama to another

personal

sentimental
an outgoing introvert
a homebody
and a fierce mama bear

- I was born in Orlando, FL and Micah was born in Bethel, AK

- At the end of a long day, the best thing is a hot bath and a good book

- Rock climbing helped conquer my fear of heights

- I married my one & only (he's kind of amazing)

- I'm addicted to cooking shows, political/detective/historical dramas, and The Amazing Race

- Both my hubby and I were homeschooled, and now our kids are, too

- I've taught Sunday School for over 20 years, I also volunteer with our scout troop and teach LEGO Club for our homeschool co-op

- We're a huge gaming family (both board games & video games)

- I eat cheese with my popcorn but it must be extra sharp cheddar

- We're semi-snowbirds and visit my family in TN during the winter for grandparent & cousin time

My husband, Micah, known to our friends as Mr. Camera Happy, was actually the one who introduced me to my first "real" camera at sixteen years old.

Now, almost two decades later, we just built our maybe-forever home in Wasilla, Alaska and have three kids, a dog & cat, our dream careers, a life full of adventure and a home full of love.

MOVED STUDIOS & PHOTOGRAPHED EVEN MORE BABIES
I moved from West to East Anchorage into a beautiful studio space with such lovely light. I've photographed over 1300 sessions, 335+ babies, and have met so many incredible people. It is such an honor to document these memories and be entrusted with their most important moments. I absolutely love what I do and am so very thankful for this art form and for all my clients & families.
