Could this have been any more perfect? No, not really. It was perfection in every way possible.

We’ve been experiencing non-stop rain for the last week+ and while much-needed, it has literally rained on my parade more than once. For this maternity session, we had a very narrow window for scheduling so both of us were praying that the skies would clear up for just a few hours. And they did!

It was nothing short of miraculous considering the forecast, but we ended up with perfectly diffused light, a golden sunset breaking through, fireweed full of radiance and color, and even the bugs held off until the very end when dusk was approaching.

If I had to describe this maternity session in three words, I would say: beautiful, natural, simplicity.
