Family in Fall time 🍁

Whew, this season has been a whirlwind! We’ve had early snow, cold days, hot days, super windy days, and everything in between. I’ve been so grateful for so many wonderful families and their understanding and flexibility when it comes to our unpredictable Alaskan weather. We’ve been flying by the seat of our pants, but hey, it’s all worth it to get great pictures!

For this family, we headed up to Hatcher Pass (remember the week with early snow and I had back-to-back-to-back-to-back HP sessions?) and as I was driving up the mountain it was going sunshine, then fog, then sun, then fog again. Thankfully, our location was clear and we had a wonderful session in the gorgeous fall colors. After wrapping things up and heading back down, we hadn’t even made it to the main road before this huge fog bank rolled in, obscuring everything. So we had finished up just in the nick of time!
