10 of my last 17 sessions have been maternity.

Honestly, that’s kind of a crazy statistic. It feels as though I’ve spent years upon years encouraging mamas to get these important pictures of their pregnancy, but heard every reason under the sun- felt too tired or bloated, not comfortable in her own skin, didn’t know what to wear, or “we didn’t do them with our first baby”. But the heart-pull I had to give beautiful pictures of each pregnancy was too strong to give up. So, I started meeting all of those spoken and unspoken needs.

✔️ Lots of encouragement before, during, and after the session
✔️ Teaching that all babies, including second/third/four/fifth pregnancies, are important and deserve photos, too
✔️ Providing an extensive Studio Wardrobe full of flattering gowns & outfits
✔️ Posing prompts to help even the most camera-shy individual
✔️ Teaching that this is a big milestone for the whole family- including siblings- so documenting these memories for your growing family is important
✔️ Helping mamas look good and feel great

And, for the game-changer, I started including a complimentary maternity session + 3 digital files + 4×6 prints with each booked newborn session. Now the cost is no longer a factor and mamas have absolutely no reason not to get the maternity photos that they NEED to have.

That’s why my calendar is full of expecting mamas and I couldn’t be more excited.
